Dear Worcester Public Schools Families,
I hope you are all healthy and enjoying the school year. I am writing to inform you about an important deadline for students to have all their required vaccinations, which is Tuesday, January 16, 2024. All students are required by state law to have received their required immunizations by this date.
You can read the entire list of vaccine requirements by grade on our website. Please note that exemptions are provided in limited circumstances.
Immunization requirements exist to protect students, staff, and the community from preventable illness and disease. Compliance with this requirement is necessary to prevent outbreaks in schools and communities.
If your child does not have a medical provider, please view the list of Worcester’s free health clinics and school-based health centers on our website or read below.
We ask for your support to ensure our school communities are healthy environments for all. If you have any questions, please speak with your school nurse or contact a member of the WPS Nursing Department.
