Inside Donald's Spratt's lab at Clark University, students are working on purifying a protein.
The students in the lab, though, are not Clark upperclassmen, eyeing the diplomas they'll be receiving in a few months — instead they are juniors and seniors at North High School.
The students were at Clark on March 6 as part of Spratt's STEM Outreach Program, a program Spratt, an assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry, launched in 2019 to help connect local high students with opportunities to get firsthand experience working in collegiate lab settings.
