WORCESTER – Monday, April 10, 2023 – The four high schools within Worcester Public Schools that offer Chapter 74 Career Technical Education (CTE) programs are in the process of holding admissions lotteries and notifying students if they have been accepted for the 2023-2024 school year.
Worcester Technical High School offers 23 Ch. 74 CTE programs and is a full-scale career technical education high school. Worcester Tech will post its admissions lottery results by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12. Students who were accepted will receive an email and mailed letter; students who were placed on the waitlist will receive an email. Students will be notified of “conditional acceptance” via the web portal techhigh.Go2CTE.com. In addition, a video of the lottery drawing will be posted on the district’s website, WorcesterSchools.org.
Doherty Memorial High School offers the Engineering and Technology Academy Ch. 74 CTE program. Its lottery was held on Thursday, April 6, and acceptance notices have been issued to students via email and mailed letter. Lottery assignments are also posted to the Engineering and Technology program’s website.
North High School offers the Health Science and Business Technology Ch. 74 CTE programs. Its lottery is scheduled for Monday, April 10. Acceptance notices will be issued to students via email and letter.
South High Community School offers the Culinary Arts, Diesel Technology, and Early Childhood Ch. 74 CTE programs. Its lottery is scheduled for Tuesday, April 11. Acceptance notices will be issued to students via email and letter.
